"Okay. I know what you may be thinking.... This song is not about dirty things 😭. Literally, I can remember the moment I was in my car, switching through beats sent to me by one of my favorite beat producers Lil ZenD, and I stopped on this track titled "Do It For Me". I was in love with the beat so much so that I pulled out my journal and started scribbling down lyrics and tying them to the melodies that were floating around in my head. The inspiration for filling out the story was a crush I had at the time, reminiscing on the way he made me feel seen and special every time we ran into each other. That's it. "This has to be my personal favorite track off the EP. I ate UP all of the soft girl content on Tik Tok (pre Tik Tok going dark day) and that along with the experiences me and my girlfriends were all having at the time of navigating the treacherous dating world of 2023-2024, inspired all of the lyrics to this song. It served as an anthem on the way I wished and hoped to be treated by my future husband. I hope other girlie pops can relate, raise their standards and stop accepting bare minimum, low effort men into their lives.
